Project
Executive Summary
Our premise would be to teach them of the protection
that should be afforded to whistleblowers, and then use the case
study of Tyco to explain how the situation warranted whistle-blowing.
We will make a recommendation that an entity independent of executives
should be created to ensure certain executives comply with ethical
business standards. Also, we seek to promote, through legal protection
and financial compensation, Wal-Mart promote this ethical decision
making like GAP affords to Government employees. We also explain
from a consequentialist approach, since it provides a more tangible
view of the good and the bad as results of actions, just why whistle-blowing
is good for business.
