Loyola Marymount University is located at Loyola Blvd. and West 80th Street in Los Angeles, near Los Angeles International Airport. Click here for directions. The start/finish area is located at the Softball Field on the southeast side of Campus, located behind Gersten Pavilion. Click here for course map.

Age divisions for the 2002 run is as follows:

10 and under
11 - 14
15 - 19
20 - 24
25 - 29
30 - 34
35 - 39
40 - 44
45 - 49
50 - 54
55 - 59
60 - 64
65 - 69
70 - 74
75 - 79
80 and over

The top 3 male and female finishers overall in the 5k and the 10k will receive trophies.
The top 3 male and female finishers in each age category will receive medals.
There will be a raffle for other race prizes.

The start and registration areas for the 2005, 10th annual, LMU Run for the Bay will be determined shortly.

The course is a loop course (5K one loop, 10K two loops). The course is mainly asphalt, however there are some dirt and grass areas. The course is run entirely on the campus of Loyola Marymount University in residential Westchester.

The course has one hill, which descends and ascends 80 feet over .4 mile.

Course is not wheelchair accessible and is difficult for baby buggies.

Free parking is available. Please enter the University via the Loyola Blvd. entrance, and park in Hannon Lot, which is located on the left-hand side as you enter the campus.
